This policy applies to consumers in Washington (My Health My Data Act), Nevada and other U.S. states with consumer health data laws. It covers consumer health data that Kindose, provided by Oğuzhan Aktay (Inovy), collects through the Kindose app.

1. Consumer Health Data We Collect

  • Medications you add (name, strength, form), schedules, dose history (taken, skipped, not confirmed), refill, expiry and batch information.
  • Symptom and mood logs and their notes.
  • Ask Kindose questions and answers, and the text recognised from a medicine label you scan.
  • The same information about people you care for, entered by you with their permission.
  • Usage events about health features, such as “a dose was marked taken” or “a symptom was logged”, without medication names or values.

2. Why We Collect and Use It

To remind you of your doses, log them, sync them across your devices, alert the caregivers you invite, read labels, answer your questions, make reports and insights you ask for, and keep the app working and secure. We collect it only with your consent, which you give when you create an account and, for AI features, separately. We do not use consumer health data for advertising.

3. Sources

You (what you enter in the app), your phone (dose actions and app events), and the people in your family circle (for example when a caregiver marks a dose for you).

4. Consumer Health Data We Share and With Whom

  • People you choose: Caregivers in your family circle see whether doses were taken and get late-dose alerts, with your consent. Reports go only where you share them.
  • Processors acting for us: Supabase (storage, EU), Amazon Web Services Bedrock (AI, EU regions, only with your AI consent), Expo, Apple and Google push services (alert delivery), Mixpanel (usage events, EU) and Sentry (crash reports with health data removed). They may use the data only to provide their service to us.
  • Meta: Meta receives purchase and subscription events (price and currency) with Meta’s device identifier, to measure our ads. These events contain no medication, dose or symptom data, but they show that a device bought a subscription to Kindose, a medication reminder app. This happens only with your separate consent: it is off unless you turn on Purchase measurement with Meta in the privacy choices Kindose shows at first launch (and on iPhone, also allow tracking). You can turn it off at any time in Profile › Privacy and data.
  • Authorities: Only where the law requires it.

We do not sell consumer health data. We do not use geofencing around health care facilities.

5. Your Rights

  • Confirm whether we collect, share or sell your consumer health data, and get access to it, including a list of all third parties and affiliates with whom we shared it and how to contact them.
  • Withdraw your consent to collection and sharing at any time (in Profile › Privacy and data).
  • Have your consumer health data deleted. Deleting your account in Profile › Account › Delete account and data deletes it from our database at once and from our backups as they expire (within six months at most). We also ask Mixpanel and Adapty to delete their data about you; Sentry crash reports carry no account identifier. Email us if you also want us to ask Meta to delete what it received.
  • Not be discriminated against for using these rights.

6. How to Use Your Rights

Use Profile › Privacy and data › Request my data in the app or email privacy@inovy.dev from the email address of your Kindose account. We may ask you to confirm the request from that address. We answer within 45 days, and may extend this once by another 45 days when reasonably necessary, telling you why.

Appeals: If we decline your request, reply to our answer with the word “Appeal”. We answer your appeal in writing within 45 days and explain our decision. If you disagree, you can contact the Washington State Attorney General at atg.wa.gov/file-complaint, or the attorney general of your state.
