Documents are stored on your iPhone. Cloud backup is optional (Pro): your backup is sent over an encrypted connection (TLS) and stored encrypted at rest by Supabase in the EU (Ireland), with access limited to your account. It is not end-to-end encrypted, and we do not look at your documents. Text from your pages is sent to Amazon Web Services (EU) to create search vectors and to answer your AI questions; we store only the vectors, not the text, and it is not used to train models. You can delete your account and your Docko data from inside the app.

What is Docko Pro?
Docko Pro is the app's premium subscription, billed weekly or yearly through the App Store. It renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the period, and you manage it in your App Store account settings.
How does cloud backup work?
Cloud backup is optional and only available with Docko Pro. When enabled, your backup is sent over an encrypted connection (TLS) and stored encrypted at rest by Supabase in the EU (Ireland), with access limited to your account. It is not end-to-end encrypted, and we do not look at your documents.
Can I use Docko AI without cloud backup?
Yes. Docko AI works on your device with or without cloud backup. When you ask a question, your question and the relevant page text are sent to Claude on AWS (EU) for processing. We do not store that text.
What happens when I delete my account?
Deleting your account removes your Docko data and backups from our servers and also erases your Docko documents on this iPhone, so export anything you want to keep first. You can delete your account in Settings or by emailing privacy@inovy.dev.
